Who doesn’t love a mid-week giveaway?
I sure do…especially when it’s something that I’d totally love for myself and it has something to do with Mexican food.

Why all the fuss over at Rudi’s? Well, their brand new gluten-free tortillas are coming out and they want to share them with as many folks as possible. I’ve had the pleasure of trying them a couple of times already and really love them. As you may have read back in May, Rudi’s Gluten Free Tortillas are a total winner in my book. They’re soft, pliable and completely everything that you wish those corn or brown rice tortillas would be, but just aren’t. They can sit outside of the fridge or be frozen and defrosted… they hold up in different situations and just all around are awesome.

I have fallen in love with black bean salads. Doesn’t matter the type, I love them all. My favorite rite now happens to be from onceuponachef.com We have also been making a variety of flavors of nacho’s lately. My 5 year old also has Celiac’s and nachos are one of her favorite dinners, let alone favorite Mexican dishes.

Chimi’s Mexican in Tulsa, OK has several gluten-free options including some very tasty white queso.

I follow you and love your newsletter!! I only eat at home (lupus and G-free) and use a lot of Rudi’s product and now they are in my neighborhood store, love that! By the way, mexican is my most favorite food!! Keep up the good work. Susan

Good to know Betsy! Do they have a dedicated menu or have options on the regular menu to accomodate GF patrons?
I don’t go out to eat much, but I think the chain franchise chipotle has gluten-free offerings–at least rice.
