Start your new year off right with some incredible sea salt seasoning blends from Redmond’s Real Salt! I love love love this company and their products. Whether it’s their body products or their sea salt (all of which is produced in the USA, everything they produce is incredibly high quality, nutritious, and made from real ingredients.
I use Real Salt sea salt in my home and when I teach cooking classes. The company has shared with me many of their incredible products and has been incredible generous sponsoring several of my events in the past. They love what they do and incredibly enthusiastic to share what they do!
Why sea salt over regular table salt? If you’re wondering the answer to this question, then here you go! Table salt is highly processed and fragmented food made up of only 2 components of ‘salt’ – sodium and chloride. There’s many more parts to ‘salt’ than just these two which are generally known as “electrolytes” such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, etc. Sea salt is a complete ‘salt’. It naturally contains all the parts of ‘salt’ that will help your body to operate better.

I am gluten intolerant and diabetic so I don’t eat much sweets. I am trying to cook more nutritious meals for my family and enjoy the time I have with them. By watching what I eat I have avoided the diabetes shots for 24 years.
I am gluten intolerant (celiac) and my husband is diabetic. I need to get a handle on cooking for both of us so we both can lose weight.
I am doing much better with the sugar since I went through Jennifer’s Sugar Cleanse Class. But over the holidays I did find it a little tough with the sweets.
I went through your sugar cleanse and I am so much better about my sugar cravings. Now I am a sugar snob and will only get the highest quality ingredients and take a nibble and am totally satisfied. Love some dark chocolate!
Cookies of all kinds!
I was diagnosed with Celiac eight months ago. I’ve focused more on learning how to create gluten-free meals and less on desserts. My favorite gluten-free sweet is homemade peanut butter cookies (1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg…bake and eat!).
I am celiac & have more salt cravings then sugar, but when the sugar cravings hit, I make gluten free peanut butter cookies.
hard, because I not nly have to eat gluten free, but I am also a diabetic.
I only have a snack of 85% chocolate and keep it under control.

I have three children and two of them are autistic. Being on a gluten free diet has been instrumental in their progress to better health. They feel better being on the gluten free diet and when they feel better they are able to handle therapies far better than they did before being gluten, casein, sugar, and soy free. Now that the entire family has been gluten free for years now we all feel better year round.
Love your Blog and FB page!!!!
I am celiac and a diabetic and on occasion I like to make
chocolate covered raspberries for my sugar craving.
I am gluten free and definitely addicted to sugar. Particularly chocolate and cookies. Plus soda, but I am trying to cut down considerably.
I shared on facebook, but I’m not exactly sure how to tag, hope I did it right.
Definitely have always had a sugar tooth. Chocolate, cookies…baked goods. All of it lol. I don’t have a Facebook page but will share on twitter!
I made all GF cookies this year and am now trying to stop the cookies obsession. All good sugars and the right flours and they are still making me crazy. I am slowing down and plan to be stopped by Sunday. Hopefully. I don’t tweet and I have liked you on FB for a long time. Good luck to me!
I am celiac and since last jan. 4 started to give up sugar. If I eat a sweet item I tend to get sick. My weakness is anything with peanut butter and chocolate!
always looking for new sea salt options 🙂 thanks for sharing!
New to being GF 🙂 Looking forward to the information from this site!
My favorite sugary, gluten-free treat is cheesecake. Who needs graham crackers?!
We are starting our gluten free journey due to our autistic son having problems with gluten.

Oh yes, I still love the sweets. I (accidentally) perfected a GF chocolate chip cookie recipe (which, by the way, includes Real Salt). Oh yum oh yum oh yum. Dang it, now I want a cookie.
I am totally a gluten-free sugar freak! My fav recipe of late however was a banana bread which was gone in 30 minutes…. the kids loved it!
We have been using Real Salt for 17 years, but I have never ventured out to try their other products and would love to! Thanks for the opportunity. I Twitted!
I do not have a favorite gf sugary obsession as of yet but I am sure I will as soon as I learn about going gluten free. Looking forward returning to your website for more information. I would love to try all the salts! I use the regular sea salt but i have never tried any other blends.
My favorite gluten free sugary obsession right now is pumpkin cranberry bread- gluten free and sweetened with honey. I only use sugar for kombucha making. The rest is honey or stevia, and dark chocolate of course!
I am gluten intolerant. gotten addicted to rice krispie treats with gluten free rice krispies and adding p.butter to the mix!
Can understand why you cant ship to Canada? We buy your products in Canada.
Deb, if you’re trying to reach Real Salt, then you’ll need to visit their site and submit your question. I don’t work for them not am I affiliated in any way with the company.
Sorry I mean’t “Can’t”
I am not 100% gluten intolerant, however, I have extreme sensitivity to modern day wheat. I tolerate Einkorn really well though, which is great!
Aneesa, that’s great, but just so you know, there is gluten in Einkorn. It’s not gluten-free.

It has been a work in progress for me to continue to reduce the amount of sugar in my diet. My goal with each cleanse is to add additional “good” habits and remove another source of excess sugar.
