I’m so glad that you’re here because I know how frustrated you’ve felt dealing with chronic skin issues that your dermatologist seems clueless on.
For two years, my hands were completely wrecked by eczema.
And they only got worse no matter the conventional treatments I tried (as recommended by my dermatologists and what I could buy over-the-counter).
The pain, redness, unrelenting itchiness, cracking, burning, oozing, super dry, fragile skin drove me nuts and made me feel like a leper.
People didn’t want to shake my hands or touch me (because they thought I was diseased).
I had to wear these blue disposable gloves all the time because I couldn’t get my hands dirty (let alone touch water because of how badly it burned).
I couldn’t work out.
I had to limit how much I could shower and wash my hands (which only reinforced that I felt dirty).
My hands would drive me nuts itching them uncontrollably in the middle of the night (preventing me from getting sleep).
And I felt shame and disgust at my own body because of how ugly my hands had become as well as how people would stare and make unkind comments.
Eventually, I threw in the towel with the dermatologists after realizing that they had NO CLUE what was triggering the underlying problem.
And that’s when everything changed because I was able to completely resolve my own eczema by determining my unique cluster of root causes and addressing them (rather than using lots of band-aids).
So know that when I say “I’ve been in your shoes,” I literally mean it.
My personal journey has given me a deep level of compassion and empathy for what you’re going through.
And that’s what drove me to become a clinical nutritionist… to help others who truly want to feel better and get back to a normal life.
That’s why I want you to know that…
