I love a good apple pie or apple crisp, but so rarely find one that’s gluten-free and doesn’t take forever to make.  That’s the ultimate complaint with gluten-free food… too many ingredients and too much time.

I’ve got a solution for you!  Check this out… a quick apple crisp recipe that’s gluten-free, low in sugar and takes less than 20 minutes from start to finish.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Heat EVOO over medium heat in a sauté pan for a few minutes. Add apples and spices and sauté everything for about 5 minutes or until apples become soft. Adjust seasonings to your taste.
  2. Pour apples into your dish of choice and sprinkle with granola to cover the top evenly when you're ready to eat. Enjoy!
  3. Note that you can save the sautéed apples and add them to yogurt or have them as a snack. They reheat well and are very versatile.
