I’m a big fan of eating one’s nutrients in food. In our pill-heavy culture, I think this idea is important and something that too many of us have strayed quite far from. So when food products come along which offer healthy benefits with a great taste, then I feel it’s almost a given that everyone should give these products a try. The potential positive impact on your health could be quite astounding.
Recently you may recall that I shared by thoughts on the benefits of maintaining healthy gut flora. A major problem for many of us on the gluten-free world is that your gut flora is no longer supporting you the way it should because it’s either be hijacked by bad bacteria, yeast and perhaps even parasites, or the amount of flora present isn’t what it should be. One way to do this without adding in more pills is to consume healthy fermented foods which support digestion.
Lightly sweet, refreshing and good for you, KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drinks combine all of these aspects. They happen to top the list of recommended products in my ever-popular Gluten-Free Sugar Cleanse program as a result.
KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drinks are vegan, gluten-free, certified organic and non-GMO. If you have wanted a way to replace your morning yogurt addiction which is potentially contributing to mucus and an upset stomach, this could be it! Now you can lose the dairy, but still get in the healthy digestive bacteria (or gut flora) into your system naturally.
Before you think that this product is thick or some strange consistency, it’s not. It’s light and bubbly. The variation in flavors offers plenty of variety to keep your palate happy. Eight out of ten flavors offer a light sweetness as the result of added stevia rather than sugars (boasting only 1g of sugar per serving). Two flavors (Lemon Ginger and Living Greens) have added organic cane syrup. Some flavors also have an added kick of Apple Cider Vinegar as well!
As with perfect timing, KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drinks is introducing two brand new flavors this month which will be exclusively available at Whole Foods Markets — Mojita (lime mint coconut) and Daily Cleanse (lemon cayenne). They will join the already popular flavors of Lemon Ginger, Pomegranate Coconut, Living Greens (caffeinated), Pomegranate Black Tea (caffeinated), Pomegranate, Mango Coconut, Strawberry Acai Coconut and Coconut.
I had the pleasure to indulge in the new flavors at Expo West a few weeks ago. I truly love the idea that the two new flavors could easily be added to your meals to aid gut health while helping your body detox this Spring. Daily Cleanse is KeVita Sparkling Probiotic Drinks‘ take on the Master Cleanse while Mojita is the healthy version of the popular mojito drink (sans alcohol, of course).
I know you’re going to love these beverages (if you don’t already) and I’m excited to share them with you!!

Would really like to try this! Can’t do Casein.
More new recipes and more knowledge on how to use which flours for what. XOXO 🙂
I would like the shortest easiest recipes because I am bored in the kitchen.
I would like to know how to make more food sensitive recipes …i.e. gluten free and sugar free….more knowledge about how to use different flours/starches. Thank you for this opportunity.
I subscribe to your newsletter, and follow you on facebook and twitter. 🙂 To improve in the kitchen, I would like to expand my food repertoire a bit- I got so used to “safe ” food due to my multiple allergies, but it is starting to wear on me a bit.
Having some better cooking utensils would be a great help to me and I’m gradually adding them. I love the recipes that I gather from the Gluten Free Sugar Club so that is helping me in the kitchen. I have trouble drinking smoothies so these drinks look like they would really be a great addition into my diet.
More creative and good tasting ingredients for gf eating would help a lot.
More cookbooks! I am always looking try and experiment with new flavors and ingredients! I love creating healthy and wholesome meals!
I love trying new smoothies and mixing up raw recipes that are GF. I have a high speed blender that i bought second hand but it’s starting to poop out in me. So is live to get a Vitamix blender! I’d use it everyday 🙂
Having the perfect ingredients to make gf foods taste like foods I used to eat!
I love trying new smoothies and mixing up raw recipes that are GF. I have a high speed blender that i bought second hand but it’s starting to poop out in me. So I’d love to get a Vitamix blender! I’d use it everyday
I would like a juicer. I want to do a detox juice cleanse, and then restart with a gluten-free diet. I recently had a brain aneurysm, and underwent emergency brain surgery. Since then, I have had daily head and body aches. I have friends recommending both the juicing and gluten-free diets. I think they sound like the right things to do! Your website is a great find to help me out on my new path to healing and health. Thanks! P.S. KeVita has become an addiction of mine since the surgery. Food in general has not been…appetizing, to say the least. I feel as if KeVita provides my body with so much that I am missing right now. Thanks for the giveaway!
Praise God! I’m happy that you are feeling much better!!
I love to learn…anything…anytime. I am always interested in more information about cooking real food in healthful ways. My pantry has been re-stocked with a focus on improving health and nutrition. Now my cooking techniques and recipes need to be re-vamped as well.
I think the best way to get people like me, who don’t really feel confident in the kitchen, to cook more is by providing recipes that don’t involve a lot of different ingredients. It can be overwhelming trying to cook something that you have to have 12 different ingredients on hand in order to make it. Simple is key.
I need to get better organized. I have gluten free flours/starches, but in their original containers. I know they last longer/fresher in air tight containers, so I need to get those empty jars from my friend and fill and label each one. 😛
Always looking to pick up pointers in the kitchen! It’s time to broaden my gluten free horizon! Health nut really to be cracked!
I have always dreamed of going back to culinary school, which is something I know would improve my skills in the kitchen! Hoping to make that dream a reality soon 🙂
Would like to know more about baking & Cooking with coconut flour and less sugar.
what would help me become a better cook in the kitchen would be know how to experiment with different types of vegetables. I get stuck in the same cycle of veggies every week because it’s easy. and prepping 15 meals on sunday is a lot of work! but i get stuck when shopping for veggies that maybe i never heard of before….
More skill and precision with cutting. Knife skills.
I am so excited to try this. Im going out today to find some…Thanks
I would be better in the kitchen with decent cookware!
I need to know what to do with fennel!! I get lovely organic fennel and never know how to prepare it!
I do believe the statement that death begins in the colon. I love to find new ways to improve the health of my gut because I believe it is the key to being healthy.
I need to learn the tricks of baking gluten free with same results as baking with regular flour.
I would love to be able to make more gluten free foods at home. I love to cook
I definitely could use some more confidence. By going to a cooking class or two. Okay 20. I have to cook for so many types. Gluten free, dairy fee, egg free, and all of the different food allergies and diabetic and heart disease. So, little salt and no added sugar.
What would make me a better cook in the kitchen? Fearlessness to try new gluten free recipes and having the right ingredients on hand.
I’m not sure what would make me a better cook in the kitchen…. I feel too intimidated to cook, but do it ’cause it is better for my child. If I didn’t have my kid, I’d probably still do sandwiches every day!!! 🙂 Of course with my child’s allergies, it got me trying to do better for myself and trying…. but cooking isn’t like baking. I’m happy that my child just eats what I make! lol
I need more vegetarian variety that my kids will eat
Liked, signed up and posted. Thanks.
Would love to try this!!
Understanding how to bake better gluten free rescipes.
Enjoy drinking Lemon Ginger while cooking. Great replacement for wine. Would like to learn more about fermenting veggies
I would seriously love to have a set of chef quality cookware and a set of Le Crueset. That would make cooking oh so much more awesome!
I would love to have an easy recipe book for weeknights when i just need to do something quick!
Learn how to cook gluten-free and start to make low calorie recipies for my family diet menu plan.
To be better in kitchen I need more inspiration and willingness to fail.
What would help me become a better cook in the kitchen? Hmm, a few gluten-free cookbooks along with all the ingredients I need. I have considered making the diet chance from vegetarian to vegan and gluten-free, and I just need to get started and make the first steps in doing so.
I just need general knowledge on what spices tastes like what. I always am afraid of the spice rack. Knowing that would make me a better cook in the kitchen.
I would like to start juicing and would like some healthy gluten free recipes for dinner that my family would also enjoy!
Speed! I have a one-year old so there is a really short gap between when he realizes he is hungry and I have to have something nutritious on the table.
A cookbook!
Knowledge, more knowledge, and more knowledge!! Love your website and Facebook page…unfortunately I do not do twitter. Thanks for all that you do!!! 🙂
I always appreciate food prep shortcuts!
I signed up for your newsletter!!
Am trying to learn how to cook Gluten Free as I have recently been diagnosed with Celiac. A lot of information out there to filter thru!!
I’d be a better cook if I could watch a cook and his/her techniques then apply them at home. Visually learning something stays with me longer than reading recipes
I would like some tips on quick and easy meals so I’m not spending a long time preparing meals.
I am a gluten-free vegan who looks for recipes with low sugar and has food allergies to eggplant, green peppers, kale, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and coconuts. I’ d like to make sure that I am meeting all of my nutritional needs, so some recipes that don’t include those items, but include easy to find items would help me be a better cook in the kitchen. Thanks.
Frankly? More time. But I could also use better knife skills and some tips for quick/easy weeknight meals that the whole family will eat (meaning, the 3yo). Thanks!
I love this product! Unfortunately I am a broke college student and I can only drink it on special occasions! I wish I could have one everyday!
Gluten, corn, soy, peanuts, sugar FREE, and only organic will do
I am already a great cook. Have to hide on the weekend people invite themselves over all the time.
You do not need gadgets to be a good cook only a great imagination.
I would love to experiment more with taking traditional recipes and making them healthier or gluten-free or more nutrient-rich! I wish I had more time to try different things out. I search for new recipes, but usually I just resort back to old recipes because they are easy and I don’t have to think about what I’m doing when I make them. This gets boring, however. Perhaps I need a little more motivation in addition to more time in the day 🙂
In this article you say that: A major problem for many of us on the gluten-free world is that your gut flora is no longer supporting you the way it should because it’s either be hijacked by bad bacteria, yeast and perhaps even parasites, or the amount of flora present isn’t what it should be.
Why do you think this to be true?
I thought that grain and any glutenous foods had more to do with sugars and yeasts in the gut than any other food.
